THE FULL ALBUM from Fandom Fest 2026 is here!
This year Fandom Fest moved to a new venue, CSKA Arena. We shot there once a long time ago, so I was really curious how Fandom would build it out. Both the festival and the venue lived up to expectations: the photos came out beautiful and I’m very happy with the result.
This year we weren’t press but guests of the festival, so we shot freestyle.
The venue had just one downside: I wanted to shoot more on a long lens, so I stood far away from the cosplayers. And inside the arena bowl it was really loud — hard to talk, and by the end of day one I’d lost my voice. On day two I explained poses to a lot of people by typing them on my phone. But even so, it all turned out great!
