A suddenly cancelled flight to Ufa caught us off guard, and the free weekend we had planned around shoots with the Ufa cats left us pretty crushed.
Then the VIBE.CON team showed up, picked us up for their festival and arranged our whole stay, all less than a day before the con! Thanks to the organisers for reacting so fast, for the invitation and for letting us spend this weekend at a great festival instead of sulking at home!
I really loved the venue and, yes, the vibe. The name says it all 😁
As a special guest I shot a few lovely people outdoors, and we also made some backstage content, so new clips are coming soon!
Yes, this time I didn’t shoot everyone who asked. I wanted to unwind a bit and just photograph what inspired me. A few times I even had to explain to the queue that I wasn’t press.
On the bright side, I tidied up everyone’s wigs in the photos, which is a must outdoors, where the wind can mess up even the sturdiest styling. I cleaned up the shots, let all our wonderful deadline survivors catch up on sleep, and overall I’m very happy with how creatively and usefully we spent this unexpectedly free weekend.
