THE FINISHED ALBUM from the autumn AniFest 2026: Classic in Krasnodar is here!
A festival twice a year? Why not!
We’re really happy we got to work so much with southern cosplayers this year and made it to Krasnodar twice! I’m still impressed by the festival itself: the number and quality of the cosplays, the organisation and the trip as a whole.
Before the trip I planned out the colour and lighting setup in advance. I liked the shots from the spring AniFest, but this time I changed the setup a bit: more focus on cool tones and on colour that’s a little unusual to the eye. The venue is a concert hall, and I didn’t want to go for “correct” colour there. It turned out interesting and I’m happy with the result, but as always I think it could be even better if I worked a bit less like a conveyor belt and more on interacting with you.
This AniFest was noticeably harder than the first one!
You totally wore me out: I shot non-stop from 11 to 7 pm. People waited in line for a long time, but I tried to work with everyone and make beautiful shots. I shot everyone who wanted it.
So many impressions! A queue the whole time, people wanting photos the whole time. I didn’t really get to chat with everyone or properly rest either. The whole time I tried to focus on the shots and help with poses, and afterwards I was completely drained for a couple of days…
Huge thanks to everyone who posed for me, who supported me, who took photos with me, who waited and showed their incredible looks. Krasnodar, you’re incredibly hot, awesome and beautiful!
Special thanks to the organisers who made this trip happen. Be sure to thank and support the people who run events like this in your city.
A special shout-out to our sponsor Delight.Rent, thanks to whom we could travel light: they rented us light stands and softboxes. That made both the trip and the shoot so much easier. An interesting and great experience!
So many memories left. Of how much beauty we managed to capture, of how tired I was, and of how awesome it all was!
What about the next AniFest?
